Sustainability

Our commitment towards the environment

Arnau Marine follows a comprehensive Environment Protection Policy that applies to all that we do at sea and onshore. With over 4,000 port calls a year, we are conscious of our impact in local areas and partake in voluntary vessel speed reduction in port areas. Our vessels have received the Green Award for enhanced environmental performance and Qualship 21 status for consistently adhering to environmental compliance. In addition, 52 of our vessels will have Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems which significantly lower SOx, NOx and particulate matter emissions.

Arnau Marine Singapore headquarters was awarded the prestigious Eco Office Award by the Singapore Environment Council. This audit-driven award is given to companies who operate with high regard to waste management, air quality, and energy, paper and water conservation. In 2022, the Eco Office Award was renewed until 2024. Eastern Pacific Shipping is committed to operating our vessels in a manner that minimises the environmental impact of its activities.

Protecting the
environment

Arnau Marine key environmental goals are to improve energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and maintain high safety standards to ensure our business operations do not negatively impact the environment and global biodiversity (land, air or ocean). We aim to be the industry leader in ecosystem protection and support the decarbonization of society by facilitating the supply and transportation of clean energy fuels.

Advancing
Societies

Our social goals are to ensure we provide a safe, inclusive and culturally diverse working environment where all employees are respected and are rewarded fairly and according to merit. In addition to offering such a working place in Singapore, we aim to positively contribute to local communities through philanthropic activities and offering our time and expertise to local community- based projects. We aim to uphold the same ethical standards throughout our supply chain both upstream (our suppliers) and downstream (our customers).

Practising Responsible Governance

We seek to maintain an environment of trust, transparency and accountability within Arnau Marine operations. To this end, we apply rigorous standards regarding legal compliance relevant to all regions in which we operate, and all staff and Board members adhere to a strict Charter of Conduct, including a strict anti-corruption and data protection policy and principles of corporate ethics. We also implemented a risk management system and business continuity plan.
